Sometimes the board asks for password/authentication-I predict a crash coming up soon.

I saw that yesterday too. Might just need a server reboot, it's been a while.

Now that it's being mentioned, I have experienced the same thing since approx. 2 or 3 days ago.
Happens a few times each day.

Sorry to hear you lost posts (text) that way. I've been lucky by backspacing once or twice after I clicked the pop-up away that asked for password and username. Turned out my text was still complete then, only needed to be posted on the board still.

1. I didn't have that problem anymore yesterday and todaY (with a pop up requesting to fill in username & password, otherwise the Stew would disappear before your eyes);

but

2. It would seem to me that the emails a poster receives when someone else posts a reply in a thread you're subscribed to, have an ever bigger TIME LAG.

Anyway, it's no complaint of course. Just to let you know.

After a few days with no technical problems at all, site is starting to behave badly again...

Slow, almost impossible to get into my User control panel, and just now I had that silly pop-up again that asks for password or otherwise you're kicked out.

Just so you'll know.
